- Does your vote really count? How safe is your vote? The Education Committee welcomes Thurston County Auditor, Mary Hall, on Monday May 20th from 12:30-2 in the Rainier Room. Mary will discuss Washington State's safe and secure vote by mail system. Her office manages every part of the election process in Thurston County, from candidate filing to ballot design, processing and security. First elected as auditor in 2013,Mary Hall's elections career began in Pierce County in 1996. She is an award winning elections administrator and leader.
